This SERVICE is to cut your 1911 or 2011 slide for the Trijicon RMR plate. This does NOT include the plate (which is required for mounting your optic). The slide is CNC machined, then drilled and thread milled for the plate. We will install the plate if shipped with the slide at no additional charge.
The Trijicon Plate number is: SKU: CA428-C-600757
Our plate is machined from stainless steel and we black nitride them for a tough, durable finish. The rear sight is a U-Notch with a wavy texture to aid in anti-reflection. The front sight is a steel, serrated matching height Novak unit.
NOTE: We will NOT install the front sight if you gun is NOT cut for Novak front sights. If it is Novak and minimal fitting is needed, we will install the front sight. If you have a Kimber, Rock Island, S&W, or other brand that is NOT Novak, please select the Novak Cut service if you want the front sight fitted.
NOTE: Some series 80 models will need to have the firing pin safety shortened. This also applies to Kimber Schwartz Safety

Fantastic products and service! I am so happy with the quality of the optic milling service. Sent my Sig Sauer 80 series 1911 slide, trijicon mounting plate and front sight in for milling. Incredibly fast turn time. My Kimber Stainless II slide was received, milled and return shipped the same day. Why wait weeks or months to get your slide milled? Slide is perfect. No marks. Thanks ZR Tactical for offering this service & you did a fantastic job! I had the RMR & Front Sight Novak Cut. This was done on my Rock Island 2011 Tac Ultra FS 45 – Full Size Double Stack. I was originally using an EGW Mount. The mount was high above the slide which made it hard to aquire the Holosun 507c Reflex Sight Reticle. Th ZR Tactical mount is flush with the top of the slide & makes sight aquisition quick the way it should be. I was a little concerned that the slide cut wouldn't work properly for the 2011. I'm glad I took the chance because it turned out perfect!

Excellent service with a very quick turn around also they cut a series 80 Smith and Wesson slide and kept the safety intact as this is a carry gun for me after local gunsmith said can't be done machining was tight plate and front sight post have zero gaps Highly recommend anyone else to use their services

Call me impressed! I read previous surveys that were so good you’d of thought the owner wrote them. Allow me to elaborate. I sent my kimber covert 2 in to have it milled for a rmr2 tracking alerted me at 10:30 am. Arrived at mail room at ZRT. At 3:30 I received notice with tracking info and details attached. Wanting to see the work before adding this survey, I can without a doubt assure any sceptic this company does impeccable work , absolutely unbelievable turn around and the best most informative customer service and the guy in tech was awesome with his advice and experience. Outstanding company to do business with! I don’t know the owner But he’s my new best friend! OH the best part their prices are as awesome as they are! Thank u ZRT for an experience not seen in a long time!
