Walther PDP aluminum basepads are designed to prevent over insertion on steel frame and polymer PDP without the use of a magwell. Designed for the factory Walther 18rd magazines  Machined from 6061 and hard anodized, these basepads add protection and capacity.  Simply remove the plastic factory basepad from the 18rd magazine and slide on the ZRTS unit and install the set screws. If running a steel frame without a magwell, there is a chance of overinsertion causing a jam.  These prevent that jam where the tube sticks on the ejector.
