Description
The ZRTS Elite Compensator is a high efficiency compensator that allows easy removal for maintenance. This comp includes a custom machined stainless thread adapter that screws onto the pistol’s barrel. Our threadless comp then slides onto this adapter and indexes with the slide. Once secured, you never have to reindex. The comp can be removed with the factory thread protector wrench for disassembly and cleaning.
- High efficiency ports keep muzzle rise down!
- Built in Slide Alignment Cone decreases group size!
- REQUIRES A THREADED BARREL! Will NOT work on CA Models
- NOT guaranteed to fit OEM bushing (sizes vary greatly)

Great product, like all the others. My only suggestion is that they mention you need their bushing for it to fit properly!

Easily installed. Haven’t fired pistol yet with compensator attached but expect it too perform as advertised. Dresses pistol up as well.

I purchased the tan one. I’ll be honest for a 22LR I didn’t need it but I bought it for looks and it sure does look awesome! I sent pictures of my 1911 with the compressor on it to friends and they all said it looks pretty cool. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants one or is thinking about it.

Had to do a little home modifications but it looks good.

This is likely an installation issue. There is a set screw that has to be tightened once the compensator is indexed correctly. A dab of blue loctite on the shank of the adapter and the set screw ensure it cannot come off when firing.

Works and looks great, very simple to install. Only thing is when you are installing it make sure to put the set screw on the first grove, not in the wide slot behind it. If the set screw is set in the wide slot the compensator sets back to far and will not allow the slide to return to battery from bumping the rear of the comp.
